A Taipei practice built around the grant file

Origin

The practice grew out of repeated work with Taiwanese grant recipients who faced funder site visits with incomplete voucher trails. Programme officers needed independent eyes on expenditure; finance teams needed someone who could read both local accounting habits and the English-language clauses common in foundation awards.

We kept the work deliberately narrow: grant compliance financial audits and the adjacent reviews that prepare an organisation for them. We do not sell software, run payroll, or replace your statutory auditor.

How we work

Engagements start with the signed agreement and approved budget. We then agree a sampling approach, pull supporting documents with your finance lead, and document exceptions in plain language. Findings are discussed with management before any letter is finalised, so that context around a questioned cost is not lost.

On-site days are held at your premises when original invoices must remain in locked storage. Remote document review covers scanned packs when your archive already supports it. Meetings can be conducted in Mandarin or English.
